Dean 210 - Teaching Lab

Dean 210 is a teaching lab.  First priority for use of this room is to teach labs  for the Anthropology 151 (Emerging Humanity) classes, and the Anthropology 215 ( Physical Anthropology) Labs.

Maximum seating capacity is about 30 in Dean 210. The tables can be rearranged for particular class/lab needs--being careful not to scrape up the floors, and making sure to return them to their original locations when the class is over.

This room is heavily used during certain periods, so make reservations well ahead of the intended use date.

Map Cases --Due to a lack of other space, this room is also where we keep map cases for our archived maps.  The map cases contain archived maps from past research projects, topographic maps, and working maps from on-going projects.  The maps are sorted by island and the research projects maps by project (usually more than one island or project per drawer).   If you're looking for something, please read the drawer labels before rummaging.  If you must go through these maps, please do not mix them up.

Besides archived and working maps, the drawers also contain archaeology faculty personal maps (one drawer per each at present).  Courtesy requires that the drawers with people’s names be considered and treated as private property unless/until you have specific permission from the occupant to do otherwise.
