Dean 203 -
Teaching & Comparative Collections

This is a clean, environmentally-controlled room.
Do not turn off the air conditioners, and do not open the windows
.

Dean 203 houses our teaching and comparative collections, and some basic reference books.
Most of the collection materials kept in this room need to be maintained under environmentally controlled conditions, so they should generally not to be taken elsewhere.

Maximum seating capacity in Dean 203 is sixteen.  The room is currently being used during several hours a day for an on-going project to catalog and analyze artifacts from the Nu'alolo Kai, Kaua'i site.  Outside of these hours, the room can be used occasionally  for meetings, but please do not schedule classes in this room.  Inform the labs manager if you want to use this room so that usage conflicts can be avoided.

The reference books in this room are to be used in conjunction with the comparative collections, and should not be borrowed.  Please re-shelve them where they belong when finished with them.

Photo Copy Stand

The  photographic copy stand in this room is available for use by faculty and students to do copy work, and to take artifact photos. Please schedule use of the copy stand with the labs manager.
